Hello, pleasure to meet you. My name is Kiah. I am an athlete but never felt like I fit the stereotype. I am not coordinated, or skinny, or fast. I am, however, stubborn and enjoy the outdoors so, here we are!
Here, you’ll find a variety of reviews and insights in my blog. You’ll also find scorecards with grades for the various places I go. I hope to turn this into a fun resource!
I created The Scenic Route Society because I want to offer a different perspective on races and trails. The race perspective from someone who often finishes in the middle or back of the pack and usually struggles every step of the way. The trail perspective from someone who enjoys nature and will do the hard trails- but who also knows their limits and is not here to prove anything against Mother Nature.
For the solo souls, the back-of-the-packers, the casual hikers, the ones who are here for the experience and the snacks, this one’s for you.
